Ocean Gordon (2015)

On 11 September 2015, Ocean Gordon girded and capsized while towing a barge in Vancouver Harbour, British Columbia. The TSB lists the occurrence as M15P0298 in Appendix B of report M18P0230. Nauticapedia’s dated historical account says the tug sank in shallow water while towing a gravel barge and that the Canadian Coast Guard rescued its crew. A contemporary Canadian Press account published on 13 September reported two men rescued without injury, a response boat arriving about eleven minutes after a call around 18:00, and no observed fuel leak at that stage. These are reported consequences, not TSB causal findings. No standalone investigation or monetary damage estimate was recovered.
