On 5 October 2011, Warnoc was tending a log barge in Cleo Bay, British Columbia. The tug girded and capsized during that operation. The TSB identifies the event as occurrence M11W0171 in its historical list of previous girding occurrences. TSB M18P0230, Appendix B, p. 35
